Lofi & Chill Ringtones

15 tones
Quick answer: Lofi ringtones are relaxed tones with soft beats, warm keys and a little vinyl crackle. They are calm but still easy to hear. Every lofi tone here is original and free as MP3 (Android) or M4R (iPhone).

Lofi and chill ringtones bring the cosy feel of a late-night study playlist to your phone. Expect lazy, swung drums, mellow piano and guitar chords, gentle kalimba and a soft, slightly worn sound, like an old record.

These tones are perfect if most ringtones feel too sharp or too loud. They are calm enough for an office or library, but the steady beat still gets your attention. Every tone is our own original track, built from scratch. Play any of them here and download it free as MP3 for Android or M4R for iPhone.

What makes a tone "lofi"?

Lofi means "low fidelity". The sound is softened on purpose: high frequencies are rounded off, the drums are gentle and slightly behind the beat, and a quiet crackle sits in the background. The result is warm and relaxed instead of bright and sharp.

When to use a lofi ringtone

  • At work or school: it will not startle the people around you.
  • As a soft alarm: a slow beat is a kind way to start the day. See more in Alarm tones.
  • For calm contacts: family or friends you like to hear from in a relaxed way.
